As they leave the princess's audience chamber, Guy and Firion talk about their future plans. Maria and Leon tag along behind them, side by side but not speaking. Leon stops in the antechamber, letting the others go ahead, and Maria turns to face him.
"It's not okay, what you did," she says, too fast.
"I know. I've much to atone for." He hesitates. "Maria..."
She's so angry at him, but he's still her brother; she can't ignore him. She gives him a hug, and feels his lips pressed soft against her temple.
"It's not okay," she says again. He nods.
