Love this! I agree on Rinoa/Edea's appearance being similar, and why Cid would agree to send SeeD to assist the Forest Owls, who are noted in-game to have a very small chance of success against the massive Galbadian Empire, is explained very well here.

I really love the subtitles put into both Rinoa and Cid (his noting the bracelet, and her nervous gesture near the end) which feels real. I also love how he's obviously quite taken with her, but it's very organic and sweet, not at all creepy or awkward.

Major kudos! And a special kudos for Cid fic in general!
