Pairings: Angel/Buffy, Riley/Buffy, Spike/Buffy
Rating: PG-13
Contains: Spoilers, reference to sex
Notes: Written for
fic_on_demand, for
kneazles' multifandom "Blood" request.
Wordcount: 136
Summary: Buffy understands now.
Beta: None.
With Spike it's all fast and rough and hard, and sometimes in their games they break skin and draw a little blood and leave bruises, but it's nothing that won't heal with time and a Slayer's power. With Riley it was a strange blend of passionate and sweet, and very little of the violence that Spike brings to the game. With Angel, it was so sweet she thought sometimes she would die from it.
She never told him that the most intense feeling of her life was when she had offered her blood to him and he had taken it. She stood there, unable to move or speak, as he drained her blood from her body, and she understood, a little, what it must be like to have that driving thirst.
Or at least, she understood what it was to crave being the subject of it.
