Summary: Sabin leaps into action when the house starts to fall.
Celes running up to the collapsing house is the most welcome thing Sabin has seen since the Fall. She assesses the situation in a glance and sprints in after the child, leaving him to be the support.
He is flesh and bone and muscle, not steel and wood and stone, but he knows his limits. He can keep this house standing for long enough, if she doesn't dawdle.
Celes has never dawdled.
Just as his arms start to tremble from the strain, she runs out with the child. He leaps free, and the house falls.
His laughter is sheer relief.
