David knows Emma is watching him watch Rush, concerned about what she politely describes as his "interest" but too polite, as yet, to say anything. He knows what it looks like when he cannot tear his eyes away from Rush, when he loses the thread of a conversation because he is lost in thought about Rush's hands, quick and clever on his skin, the way his breath catches at a certain touch, the taste of his kiss.
Rush looks up and grins when he catches David's eyes.
He knows what it looks like when he grins back, and doesn't care.
