The others were almost ready to go. Vivi had been saying his goodbyes in the Black Mage Village, and there was only one left.
He stopped by to see Bobby Corwen, and the chocobo greeted him with a friendly kweh. Vivi stretched up to give him a hug, and he grabbed Vivi's hat in his beak and tried to tug it away. Vivi grabbed the floppy edges, trying to hang on. "Hey!" he protested. "That's mine!"
"Kweh!" The chocobo butted his head against Vivi's cheek, almost like a kiss for good luck.
Vivi was feeling much better when he left.
