Characters: Orran
Rating: G
Contains: Minor spoilers
Wordcount: 100
Notes: Written for
auronlu's prompt "arc"
Betas: N/A
Summary: Orran defends himself.
Orran knows of many magicks, from fire and fury to soft healing. Some even flirt with the meaning of time.
Orran does much more than flirt.
While the young mercenary's troop fights off the thieves who chased him to the roof, Orran draws out the paths of the celestial bodies in his mind. From there it is a matter of connecting one arc to another in ways stars were not meant to meet and twisting the result into stasis, trapping the thieves in borrowed time.
The heavens spring back to their appointed shape, and for the moment, he is safe.
